Horticulture Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Horticulture Operations Manager to lead our horticulture and weed/pest control teams in achieving excellence.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results across multiple sites, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate your team to deliver exceptional service and achieve operational excellence.
  • Schedule Management: Plan and manage staff schedules, resources and site operations efficiently.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular site audits to ensure safety, quality and compliance standards are met.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor operational performance, budgets and KPIs to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Staff Development: Support and develop your team, helping them grow professionally and achieve success.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: Proven supervisory and/or leadership experience in horticulture and/or weed/pest management is essential.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organised, able to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communicator with strong client relationship skills.
  • Reporting Skills: Comfortable reporting on budgets, performance metrics and project outcomes.
  • Industry Qualifications: Relevant industry qualifications and/or licensing (highly regarded).
