Key Responsibilities

In support of our can business growth, we are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team in Queensland.

Main Tasks:

  • Operating high-speed machinery
  • Attending to mechanical breakdowns on shift
  • Reading and following SOPs
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Providing technical assistance to reduce production equipment downtime and spoilage

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a trade qualification in Fitting and a minimum of 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • A strong commitment to safe work practices
  • Availability to work across 24-hour rotating shift patterns
