Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Hose Technician to manage hose manufacturing, testing and inspection services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review work instructions/hose specifications and assist in the allocation and management of asset hoses
  • Inspect and provide condition reporting on used hose assemblies both internally and for clients
  • Manufacture new hose assemblies according to procedures
  • Perform hydrostatic and electrical conductivity tests on new and in-service hose assemblies
  • Operate, maintain and repair equipment, reporting and rectifying defects
  • Engage with the planning and preparation of onsite and offsite hose projects

Requirements:

  • Experience in hose manufacture, testing and ideally inspection
  • Strong focus on safety and quality
  • Literate with good communication skills
  • Ability to use basic Microsoft Office packages

Desirable Skills:

  • Mechanical Trade Certificate
  • Experience as a Hose Technician
  • Knowledge and experience with hydraulic and industrial hose fittings and components
  • Knowledge of relevant NATA standards advantageous
  • Site supervisory experience
  • Experience working on Major Hazard Facilities
