Manufacturing Equipment Technician

About the role: We are seeking a skilled technician to ensure the availability and reliability of plant assets in our operations. This is a full-time position with opportunities for overtime and additional allowances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain equipment to ensure maximum uptime by providing effective preventative and breakdown maintenance.
- Make, fit or repair machines, instruments or appliances to ensure optimal condition for intended use.
- Meet safety requirements and conform to all relevant regulations.
About You:
- Hold mechanical trade qualifications and have post-trade experience of at least 2 years.
- Have experience in maintenance and repair in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Understand work planning and scheduling procedures.
- Thoroughly understand maintenance work management practices.
Additional Requirements:
- Sound computer skills.
- Effective fault finding and diagnostic skills.
- Thorough understanding of WHS regulations/procedures.
What Next:
A successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be physically fit and willing to work weekends and shifts as required.
