Senior Mine Planner
About the PositionWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mine Planner to join our Mine Engineering Team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the long-term success of our operations by delivering strategic mine plans that optimise the life of the asset.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Delivering mine plans that optimise the life of the asset while enabling the business to meet both short- and long-term objectives in safety, production, and cost.
- Producing development and production designs based on new and updated geological resource models.
- Logically sequencing and scheduling mine areas to enhance overall production and economic outcomes.
A strong understanding of hard rock mining, including exposure to pastefill operations, is required. The successful candidate will have proven expertise in calculating life-of-mine (LOM) mining costs, cut-off grades, and reserves and resources.
Membership with Aus IMM is required, along with advanced proficiency in Deswik and hands-on experience with stope optimisation programs.
The position requires a high energy individual, hands-on management style, and desire to continuously improve knowledge and systems and methods of work.
