GP Practice Reception Role

We are seeking an experienced receptionist with medical practice experience to join our dedicated team at a GP practice in Baldivis, WA. This is a part-time position, with the opportunity to work closely with our healthcare professionals and contribute to the smooth running of the practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice in a friendly and professional manner
  • Scheduling appointments and managing the appointment system
  • Handling patient enquiries and providing assistance as needed
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring data integrity
  • Assisting with administrative tasks and general office duties
  • Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to support practice operations
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a medical reception or customer service role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, healthcare professionals and colleagues
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Proficient in using medical practice management software and other relevant IT systems
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records
  • A warm, friendly and professional demeanour, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
