Engineering Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Hot Mills team at our Port Kembla Manufacturing site.

About the Opportunity

  • Maximising business efficiency and productivity through effective budget management and capital project execution.
  • Developing and implementing the Hot Mills business plan, focusing on cost-effectiveness and strategic growth.
  • Leading and developing a high-performing team, prioritising talent capability and succession planning.
  • Ensuring safety and governance through processes and systems that safeguard employees and comply with regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical).
  • Proficiency in developing and managing budgets, with experience in brownfield capital projects.
  • A proven track record of leadership, with ability to build constructive partnerships and navigate changing priorities.
  • An interest in engineering technology advancements and a willingness to stay current with new practices and technologies.
