The Opportunity

As a Lifestyle Coordinator, you will play a key role in developing and implementing programs that promote positive health and wellbeing outcomes for clients.

You will be responsible for planning and leading social, recreational and cultural activities that meet the needs and interests of clients. You will also lead mental health and wellbeing programs that empower clients' choices and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead activities that meet social and recreational needs while promoting independence and increasing quality of life.
  • Assess and document the effectiveness of programs, tracking residents' progress and making changes as needed.
  • Possess a Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or higher.
  • Able to solve problems independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of client rights and aged care accreditation standards.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, internet/intranet skills, email communication and confidence with smartphones and digital devices.
