Job Overview

We are seeking an individual to join our care team as a Activities Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering activities that cater to individual, group, and community interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an activities program that meets the diverse needs of residents, including outings, celebrations, and special occasions.
  • Evaluate the program with resident input, volunteers, and the care team.
  • Create personalized care plans for leisure, interests, and activities based on social profiles of new residents.
  • Maintain resources for the activities program and support volunteers.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement activities and participate in continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop monthly activities calendars and contribute to bimonthly newsletters.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in aged care or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
