Job Opportunity

Noble Recruitment is seeking an experienced Resource Definition Geologist to join a front-line team dedicated to discovering economic gold deposits.

This role would suit an Exploration Geologist or experienced geologist looking to work within a team devoted to the success of the mine and the team.

The Rewards:

The Role

This position has recently become available due to an internal promotion as well as expanding their drill rig operations.

Reporting directly to the Senior Resource Definition Geologist, this is a role to support the resource definition team in near-mine and tenement activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of resource definition within the near-mine and regional tenements
  • Logging of RC drilling samples and diamond drill core
  • Supervision of field assistants and assist Field Manager with the coordination of field logistics
  • Communicate with key internal and external stakeholders in the execution of all exploration programs
  • Compilation and assessment of geological information
  • Interpretation of logging and drilling results

Requirements:

  • Experience in the exploration/resource definition industry - Gold experience is advantageous but not necessary
  • A relevant Geology Degree (Hons desirable)
  • Drill rig supervision experience would be beneficial
  • Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
