Job Title:

Senior Workplace Trainer and Learning Facilitator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Workplace Trainer and Learning Facilitator to join our Group People and Culture team in the Pork Division. Reporting to the Team Leader of Training Delivery, this role involves planning and delivering training programs, as well as acting as a Subject Matter Expert in designing and validating learning materials across pork farming operations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Planning, conducting, and recording assessments to ensure accurate and unbiased evaluation of student performance.
  • • Providing expert training, advice, and guidance to students on various aspects of pork farming operations.
  • • Delivering learning through classroom, virtual, on-site, and online discussions to cater to diverse learning needs.
  • • Identifying areas for improvement and recommending changes to enhance the overall quality of training programs.
  • • Supporting students' understanding of expectations by providing clear guidance and feedback.
  • • Assessing learning needs and collaborating with sites to develop effective solutions.
  • • Providing additional support for Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) and disability needs.
  • • Validating and updating learning materials to ensure they remain relevant and engaging.
  • • Tracking student progress to inform future training sessions.
  • • Planning future training sessions based on site requirements and operational needs.
  • • Scheduling training sessions to meet site demands and optimize resource allocation.
  • • Ensuring accuracy and compliance with documentation and meeting student requirements.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should be a motivated individual passionate about the food industry and working with people. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is highly desirable, and experience in routine healthcare and pig movement would be advantageous. Additionally, strong learner support skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential.
