Trainer and Assessor

A skilled and experienced Workplace Trainer is required to join our team. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs that meet the needs of our employees.

• We are seeking an individual who can plan and deliver effective training sessions, as well as act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in designing and validating learning materials.">
• Your primary responsibilities will include planning, conducting, and recording assessments, providing training, advice, and guidance to students, and delivering learning via various methods.">
• You will also be responsible for identifying areas for improvement and recommending changes, supporting students' understanding of expectations, assessing learning needs, and collaborating with sites for solutions.">

• Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver training sessions that meet the needs of our employees.">
• Training and Support: Provide training, advice, and guidance to students, as well as support their learning needs.">
• Assessment and Improvement: Conduct assessments, identify areas for improvement, and recommend changes.">
• Learning and Development: Collaborate with sites to develop and implement learning and development programs.">
• Paperwork and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.">
• Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule training sessions based on site requirements and coordinate with other teams as needed.">
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all training materials and programs meet quality standards.">

• Motivation and Passion: You must be a motivated and passionate individual with a desire to work in the food industry.">
• Industry Experience: You should have experience working in pork farming operations, including handling, housing, and feeding.">
• Certificate IV: You must have or be willing to obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.">
• Healthcare Experience: You should have experience in routine healthcare and pig movement.">
• Communication Skills: You must have strong communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with others.">
• Technical Skills: You should have strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.">
• Teamwork: You must be able to work independently and as part of a team.">
• Continuous Improvement: You should have a critical thinking mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.">
