We are seeking an experienced Training Professional to join our team as a Senior Workplace Trainer & Assessor.

This role involves planning and delivering training programs, as well as acting as the Subject Matter Expert in designing and validating learning materials across pork farming operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in pork farming operations, including handling, housing, and feeding. They must have or be willing to obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning, conducting, and recording assessments
  • Providing training, advice, and guidance to learners
  • Delivering learning via classroom, virtual, on-site, and discussions
  • Identifying areas for improvement and recommending changes
  • Supporting learners' understanding of expectations
  • Assessing learning needs and collaborating with sites for solutions
  • Providing additional support for LLN/disability needs
  • Validating and updating learning materials
  • Tracking learner progress
  • Planning future training sessions
  • Scheduling training based on site requirements
  • Ensuring accuracy and meeting learner requirements
