Telehealth Medicinal Cannabis Clinical Leader

Clinical Leaders play a pivotal role in shaping patient care, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and providing guidance to their team members.
Key Responsibilities- Support Escalated Clinical Cases: Provide oversight and guidance on complex patient scenarios referred by other clinicians.
- Prescription Amendments: Action urgent prescription changes, ensuring timely and compliant care.
- Clinical Governance: Monitor and support safe prescribing practices within the team.
- Education & Mentorship: Act as a point of clinical guidance for new practitioners, especially those onboarding into medicinal cannabis prescribing.
To be successful in this role, you must be an Authorised Prescriber of medicinal cannabis, have AHPRA registration and be able to prescribe Schedule 8 medication. You will also need prior experience prescribing medicinal cannabis in a tele-health setting, strong understanding of clinical compliance and patient safety practices, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
