Restaurant Manager Opportunity at Mercure Townsville

The Mercure Townsville is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our culinary team at Celsius Restaurant. As a key member of our hotel's management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests while maintaining high standards of food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of Celsius Restaurant, ensuring seamless service delivery and high-quality food presentation.
  • Develop and implement service standards to consistently exceed guest expectations.
  • Lead and motivate a team of 30 dedicated employees, providing training, performance evaluations, and counseling as needed.
  • Recruit and select team members who align with our hotel's standards and values.
  • Efficiently manage rosters and costs to optimize restaurant operations.
  • Review guest feedback, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance the dining experience.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain high standards of food quality.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing a successful team in a high-volume restaurant.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Outgoing personality with a positive attitude, initiative, and the ability to think creatively.
  • Strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Immaculate personal presentation and attention to detail.
  • Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
  • Flexibility to work shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.
