About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fundraising and Donor Relations Lead to join our Community Relations Team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Western Australia.

This senior role will provide an opportunity to be an active ambassador for the Royal Flying Doctor Service, driving our fundraising and donor relations strategy to support our mission to provide excellence in aeromedical and primary health care across Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising and regular giving programs to achieve fundraising targets and enhance community awareness.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to create engaging written content and represent the Royal Flying Doctor Service in national and state peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives.
  • Develop and manage a regular giving program, implementing strategic donor engagement appeals and stewardship strategies.
  • Ensure fundraising governance and systems meet legal, ethical, and community standards.
  • Play a lead role in developing and executing a growth strategy for fundraising, working closely with the Community Relations Team.
Requirements
  • Over 5 years of successful fundraising experience, with a proven track record of achieving fundraising targets.
  • Experience planning, executing, and evaluating comprehensive fundraising and regular giving programs.
  • Deep understanding of contemporary fundraising and community engagement principles.
  • Strong written content skills, with the ability to create engaging and compelling content.
  • Demonstrated experience building strategic, productive relationships with stakeholders, including donors, community groups, and partners.
  • Degree qualification in a relevant discipline, such as marketing, communications, or business, and significant experience relevant to this position.
What We Offer
  • Permanent, full-time role or 0.8 FTE for the right candidate.
  • Salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum for everyday expenses and up to $2,650 per annum on meals and entertainment expenses.
