Research Scientist Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to contribute to the development and evaluation of high-resolution ocean and sea ice model configurations.

The successful candidate will be part of the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics group, collaborating with partners from COSIMA to advance our understanding of ocean circulation and coupled ocean-sea ice systems.

  • Develop and evaluate global, high-resolution ocean and sea ice model configurations using state-of-the-art numerical models.
  • Liaise with COSIMA partners to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among Australian research institutions.
  • Contribute to a dynamic and collaborative research environment, working closely with researchers in the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics group.
