Project Coordinator is a dynamic role that requires an experienced professional to coordinate the safe and profitable supply and installation of plasterboard products and accessories to residential homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure site safety for all stakeholders in accordance with our safety management system.
  2. Source, induct, and train new sub-contractors in accordance with safety management and quality systems
  3. Manage existing sub-contractors to ensure ongoing compliance to sub-contractor agreements
  4. Schedule maintenance trades as well as in-house inspection
  5. Approve acceptable completion of sub-contractor works prior to payment of contractors
  6. Develop customer relationships and enhance the position of our company in the market
  7. Manage project from pre-delivery inspections of plasterboard through to completion of linings including all maintenance
  8. Manage all administrative aspects for the project within our system

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the residential building industry (preferably plastering trade)
  • Current and valid driver's license
  • Trade-qualified plastering experience is not essential but will be highly regarded
  • Building-related trade qualification or extensive experience/industry knowledge (preferably in dry plastering)
  • Construction Induction (White-card) certification
  • Computer literacy
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Honesty and integrity
