Workforce Wellbeing Coordinator

The Workforce Wellbeing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enhancing the capacity of welfare teams to implement activities that promote the overall wellbeing of workers, their families, and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and implement activities to strengthen the capacity of welfare teams, focusing on case management and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain an active community of practice among welfare teams to foster peer learning, knowledge exchange, and professional growth.
  • Facilitate opportunities for continued professional development to enhance the capacity of welfare staff to support workers and their families effectively.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and case management tools.
  • Support welfare teams in adopting and applying SOPs and referral processes, providing guidance and resources to embed these practices into their daily work.
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate welfare considerations into broader program activities.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant work experience in social work, human services, social sciences, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in case management is required; background in migrant settlement or family support services is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of case management frameworks and referral pathways; experience working with Pacific and Timorese communities; understanding of GEDSI concepts and issues.
  • Strong professional judgement with risk assessment and intervention planning skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to work across teams and with external stakeholders.
  • Highly developed organisational skills, ability to balance multiple tasks, and work under pressure.
