Senior Financial Management Position

This is a broad leadership role where you will oversee financial operations, manage commercial risk, and drive business growth. You will work closely with the executive team to inform strategic decisions and maintain financial integrity.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and business, with experience in managing teams and implementing process improvements. They will also have advanced Excel skills and knowledge of ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, detail-oriented, and able to lead by example. They should be able to build trust with colleagues and stakeholders, and have a strong ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.

The successful candidate will have a degree in accounting, finance, or business, and will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of financial legislation and compliance frameworks. They will also have experience across both core financial control and commercial/contractual matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate month-end and year-end close processes
  • Prepare and review statutory reports including BAS, FBT, VAT returns, and payroll tax
  • Manage all commercial document reviews, including client and subcontractor contracts, insurance, and other legal agreements
  • Lead financial analysis across project margins, consultant utilisation, and business unit performance
  • Oversee accounting, tax, and reporting obligations across our international entities
