Job Description:
">As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert IT support and troubleshooting services to our global operations in Australia, US, and Europe. Your primary focus will be on assisting the IT team with daily tasks, including helpdesk support, hardware/software setups, and onboarding new team members.
You will also be responsible for maintaining IT asset registers, user accounts, and access permissions. In addition, you will support the IT Manager in creating, maintaining, and socializing IT and cybersecurity policies, best practices, standard operating procedures, documentation, and asset management controls.
Furthermore, you will participate in IT projects, drive adoption of new tools and systems, and deliver IT-related training. You will also help to implement and monitor progress towards the DISP Maturity Action Plan and System Security Plan. Additionally, you will enable implementation, maintenance, and auditing of cyber security frameworks to meet accreditation standards for NIST SP 800-171, ISO-27001/2:2013 or ASD Essential 8.
Lastly, you will facilitate collaboration between the company, managed service providers, and security and compliance consultants. You will also coordinate the Company's response to IT security incidents and support security assessments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">- Generalist IT support technician training, such as Google IT Support Professional Certificate, CompTIA A+ Certification, Certificate III or Diploma in Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years' experience supporting a broad range of IT issues, including at least 1 year of Tier 2 IT support, preferably with *nix systems.
- Experience building new instances in Intune, Entra, and Jamf to onboard new users.
- Natural problem-solver with the ability to take initiative, gather information, think creatively, and exercise independent judgment to address issues effectively.
- Exceptional organization and time management skills, innate sense of urgency, eye for detail, capacity to multitask, and able to manage a high volume of work.
- Self-assured to influence a diverse range of stakeholders, deal with vendors, provide real-time feedback to contractors, and escalate concerns or roadblocks.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety and up-to-date understanding of WHS legislation, quality frameworks, and accreditation processes.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing delivery of service and maintenance contracts.
