Business Development Professional Role

We are seeking an ambitious and proactive individual to join our Business Development team as a Business Development Adviser.

This role offers the flexibility to be based from our Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne offices and provides an opportunity for growth and development within the firm.

  • The Business Development Adviser will contribute to the firm's client retention, client development and new business development initiatives through driving activities such as:
  • Taking responsibility and ownership for the execution of practice group and client business development priorities, including taking the lead on agreed projects and initiatives
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of practice group and client plans
  • Client plan implementation and provision of business development advice
  • Best practice tender and credential management
  • Research and communication of opportunities
  • Event management associated with specific client initiatives

The ideal candidate will have a marketing degree or relevant business qualification, 3+ years marketing experience in professional services, and experience in drafting tenders. They will also possess strong proprietary attitude, customer focus and service attitude, demonstrated drive and initiative, ability to manage multiple tasks/projects, a continual improvement mindset, project management skills, stakeholder management and influencing skills, tender management skills, advanced business writing skills, and research and analytical skills.
