Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Security Assurance Team at TPG Telecom. As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our software development processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of application codes to identify and address potential security risks.
  • Utilize static code analysis and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) tools to provide detailed and thorough code evaluations.
  • Collaborate with our Red Team to integrate their insights and strengthen our digital defenses.
  • Ensure adherence to our Software Security Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) processes.
  • Educate and guide development teams on security-conscious development and continuous growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with contemporary security trends, vulnerabilities, and protective measures.
  • Apply a nuanced understanding of risk to prioritize and address potential vulnerabilities effectively.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that promotes mutual respect, continuous learning, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Experience in the digital assurance area, preferably in the retail and/or telecommunications sectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to understand complex IT systems and simplify complexities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for collaboration and teamwork.
