Job Title: Motor Technical Assessor Quality Standards

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Motor Technical Assessor to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our assessments meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

  • You will be responsible for auditing and recording the quality and accuracy of work done by Motor Assessors and Motor Body Repairers, reviewing assessments to ensure adherence to assessing processes and practices while balancing customer satisfaction and business needs.
  • You will assess vehicle damage to determine cost-effective and safe repairs using OEM repair methods, undertaking vehicle assessments in line with underwriting terms & conditions & claims protocols.
  • You will write accurate assessment reports and negotiate correct scope & costs for vehicle repairs, providing assessing assistance in catastrophic events - Flood, Hail or storm damage.
  • You will manage rectifications in accordance with the Industry Code of Conduct and engage PSM in the appropriate recovery of costs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with repair methods, reviewing completed assessments confirming repair methodology, costs for compliance.
  • Minimise business risks with compliance reviews and feedback, transferring of skills and knowledge.
  • Work as part of a national team of assessors to problem-solve customer repair issues.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires experience and current knowledge of the motor body repair industry, trade qualification in Panel Beating or Spray painting, broad knowledge of Insurance policies, claims and assessing procedures, proficient in customer service delivery & negotiation skills, ability to travel intra and interstate to assist customers during catastrophic events.
