The position within the Technical Training Team focuses on enhancing the skills and knowledge of the motor assessing team, ensuring they are fully trained and equipped to deliver on the company's promise of cost-effective, high-quality, and timely outcomes in motor assessing.

Focusing on these areas, the role will not only support Auto & General's objectives of delivering exceptional service but also contribute to the continuous growth and development of its team, ultimately ensuring the company remains at the forefront of the insurance industry.

Position Accountabilities

• Deliver tailored training programs that cater to the varying levels of experience and expertise within the assessing team.
• Responsible for delivering high-quality technical training to assessors, utilising your industry knowledge with a focus on consistent application of repair methods and the development of core assessing skills
• Uplift capability across the assessing workforce to ensure accurate, cost-effective, and customer-focused assessments
• Use various training styles to deliver training programs that enable learners to be equipped with the right skills, enabling them to be agile in response to internal and external changes.
• Provide on-going training support at A & G locations or on-road ensuring that all assessors, regardless of their location or experience level, have access to the training they need to perform their roles effectively.
• Provide additional training support for external ICAR training courses (where accredited)
  
  

What Experience You'll Bring

• Trade qualification in Panel Beating / Spray Painting.
• Certificate IV Vehicle Loss Assessing (preferred but not essential)
• Experience with Google Workspace (or similar platforms)
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (preferred but not essential)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literate with estimating platforms or AudaNet preferred
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
