About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Support Team Leader to join our Work + Road team. The role involves managing the workers compensation support team across 3 locations: Sydney, Penrith and a new location in south-western Sydney.
Your Key Responsibilities- Support the Practice Leader as a Senior Legal Assistant in workers compensation and industrial negligence matters.
- Provide high-level care and support to our clients in a professional manner.
- Work proactively with the Practice Leader on the administration and management of files, including arrangement of informal conferences, mediations, and drafting of court documents.
- Manage the Practice Leader's diary and coordinate client relationships.
- An experienced Senior Legal Assistant with a passion for social justice and generating positive outcomes for clients.
- Previous experience managing a support team, supporting a senior lawyer, and mentoring staff at all levels.
- A natural passion for helping people, exceptional communication and customer service skills, and a commitment to lifelong learning and development.
