Senior Assistant Manager

About the Role:

  • We seek an energetic individual with strong leadership qualities to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front Office team.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
  • You will be responsible for supervising team members, monitoring their performance, and taking initiative to resolve any issues that may arise.

About You:

  • Relevant experience in the hotel industry, preferably as an Assistant Manager or Duty Manager.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Opera.
  • Able to navigate through change and provide quick thinking solutions should problems arise.
  • Clear and confident communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate, First Aid, and Food Safety Supervisor training or willingness to obtain.
  • Availability to work a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Occasional overnight shifts may be required.
