Netball Infrastructure Manager

This is a 9 months parental leave contract to join the Facilities and Infrastructure team as a coordinator.

The role spans stakeholder engagement, facility planning, data and reporting, and administrative support for the strengthening of netball facilities across Victoria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing advice and support to stakeholders regarding Netball Australia's Facilities Guidelines.
  • Assist with identifying and prioritizing development opportunities that support expansion of community access and participation.
  • Plan and support stakeholder and council forums regarding netball infrastructure.
  • Maintain strong relationships with government departments and agencies to maximize opportunities for growth and collaboration.
  • Support partnerships with other sports organizations in Victoria.
  • Be an advocate for improving netball court standards for future generations.
  • Keep facilities resources and fact sheets accurate and up-to-date.
  • Update and maintain systems and databases to ensure information is current and relevant.
  • Provide administration support to the Facilities Infrastructure Manager.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in facility management or related field.
  • Proven ability to build productive relationships with various stakeholders, including local governments and government agencies.
  • Experience with funding application processes and compliance obligations.
  • Strong data management skills for collating, analyzing, and presenting reports.
  • Commercial awareness with partner-aligned recommendations.
  • A passion for sport and its power from grassroots to elite levels.
  • Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
