Job Title: Infrastructure Development Officer

This role plays a pivotal part in our infrastructure development team, focusing on strengthening netball facilities across Victoria.

We are seeking someone with excellent stakeholder engagement skills, facility planning experience, and strong data management abilities to help us deliver better courts and more opportunities for communities to play.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advice and support to stakeholders on Facilities Standards and Netball Australia's Guidelines.
  • Assist in identifying and prioritising development opportunities that expand community access and participation.
  • Support stakeholder and council forums regarding netball infrastructure.
  • Maintain relationships with government departments and agencies to maximise growth and collaboration opportunities.
  • Support relationships with other sports organisations and Regional Sports Assemblies.
  • Advocate for improved netball court standards for future generations.
  • Ensure facilities resources, council profiles, and fact sheets are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Update and maintain systems and databases to ensure information is current and relevant.
  • Provide administration support to the Infrastructure Manager.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in facility management, infrastructure planning, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including LGAs and government agencies.
  • Experience with funding application processes and compliance obligations.
  • Strong data management skills, with the ability to collate, analyse, and present reports.
  • Commercial awareness and partner-aligned recommendations.
  • A passion for sport and its power from grassroots through to elite level.
