Procurement Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cluster Procurement Manager to join our dedicated team at The Westin Brisbane and Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities:- Purchasing Operations: Oversee purchasing activities to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines and quality standards.
- Procurement Planning: Obtain competitive quotations for major purchases to secure quality assurance.
- Supplier Management: Work closely with department managers to assess and meet their procurement needs.
- Quality Control: Verify that all purchased items meet the company's and hotel's quality standards.
- Documentation: Keep accurate documentation, including backup information, guarantees, and warranties for new assets.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong supplier relationships to enhance procurement effectiveness.
- Inventory Management: Ensure proper handling and storage of goods upon arrival in alignment with HACCP.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in a Purchasing / Procurement Manager position or a similar role.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience in people management.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of purchasing procedures and best practices in the Accommodation and Food & Beverage industry.
- Communication: Excellent communication abilities.
- Relationship Building: Skill in developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Attention to Detail: Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
- Problem-Solving: Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset toward procurement challenges.
