Job Title: Site Operations Manager

About the Role

This is a senior-level, full-time position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a grain site. Key tasks include supervising staff, ensuring compliance requirements, and achieving strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing effective leadership to the team through support, development, rostering, and supervision of works
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment by identifying, evaluating, and controlling risks
  • Ensuring site hygiene, including grain husbandry and tarp maintenance, and managing bunker and silo pest control to prevent live insects from being found on outturn
Requirements
  • Industry-recognised grain sampling and inspection course
  • Full NSW drivers' licence
  • Front-end loader competency, forklift licence
  • Previous experience as a Grains Supervisor or Leading Hand
  • First aid certificate
  • Confined spaces certification
  • Chemcert qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Clear and effective communication skills
