Medical Support Assistant

Our client, a pioneering and dynamic surgeon with a thriving practice, is seeking an enthusiastic and committed support staff member to join their team at their busy surgical practice.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised with an eye for detail and able to tackle any task with strong follow through. They will be self-motivated and able to work within a team as well as autonomously, providing exceptional administrative support to the surgeon and front desk services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meeting and greeting patients in a welcoming manner
  • Providing personal assistant and secretarial support to the surgeon
  • Scheduling patient consultations and managing theatre lists
  • Administration of the front desk and patient clinics, ensuring medical records are managed confidentially and efficiently
  • Patient invoicing and receipting
  • Co-ordinating with other doctors, hospitals and medical representatives
  • Previous experience in Shexie is advantageous

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a surgical setting
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to superior customer service and empathy
