Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Control Expert to join our team at Hudson Australia.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Chartered Accountant with 3+ years of experience, preferably from a Big 4 accounting firm, to take on a challenging role that requires strong Excel and intermediate PowerPoint skills, detail-oriented approach, and excellent interpersonal abilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare opex budgets and forecasts, report monthly variances, and analyze capex and working capital project variances.
  • Assist in annual financial statements, manage periodic bank reporting, and handle bank interest and fee payments.
  • Support corporate income tax return preparation, manage AASB 16 Lease Accounting journals, and provide data for insurance policy renewals.
  • Approve online bank payments, respond to stakeholder queries, and recommend process improvements.
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant with 3+ years of experience, preferably from a Big 4 accounting firm.
  • Strong Excel and intermediate PowerPoint skills, detail-oriented, and excellent interpersonal abilities.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is around $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Our company offers a competitive benefits package, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
