We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Reporting Expert to join our Group Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team in Sydney.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering operational excellence in management reporting, supporting business performance, and driving strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, with CA/CPA qualifications, and extensive experience in corporate finance. You will also possess excellent working knowledge of financial systems, particularly TM1 and Excel.

In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organization, building strong relationships to drive business outcomes. Your ability to communicate complex financial insights effectively will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning the consolidation, analysis, and reporting process on a monthly basis, focusing on communicating key business drivers to senior leaders.
  • Contributing to the annual Business Plan process, specifically preparing the Group's five-year Operational Plan.
  • Assisting in half-yearly external financial reporting, collaborating with the Investor Relations team to capture and provide consolidated financial metrics, and supporting investor and analyst queries.
  • Delivering ad-hoc financial analysis and insights in response to senior leader requests, ensuring timely and insightful communication of metrics, drivers, and scenarios.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the Group's operating businesses and functional teams.
  • Aligning management reporting processes with Group initiatives.
  • Supporting the application of consistent and applicable accounting standards and policies to management reporting financials.
  • Maintaining an excellent working knowledge of group system functionality and architecture, ensuring integrity of system data and reports.

To succeed, you will need to bring –

  • Demonstrated experience in Management Reporting and/or Financial Planning and Analysis.
  • CA/CPA qualifications along with strong current technical accounting knowledge.
  • Corporate Finance industry experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of financial systems, particularly TM1, and Excel.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, and partnership skills.
  • A strong work ethic, willing to be hands-on and focused on maintaining positive relationships to meet deadlines and deliver quality financial insights.

Salary Range: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
