Life-Changing Counselling Role

This is an extremely rewarding counselling role that offers a unique chance to make a positive impact in the lives of adults, children and young people.
The organisation is a well-established not-for-profit in Perth that provides support to a wide network within the Australian community. As a counsellor, you will be a key member of the clinical team offering counselling services to a varied caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to develop effective counselling plans
- Work within a trauma-informed framework developed specifically for this role
- Provide individual, group, family and relationship counselling services
- Advocate for clients and their families
- Offer support through face-to-face, web-based and phone consultations
To succeed in this role, you will have proven experience delivering trauma-informed counselling services. You should also be able to work effectively as part of a team and have experience working alongside other allied health professionals.
Requirements:
- A qualification in Psychology, Counselling or Social Work, including registration with the relevant professional body
- Proven experience in a counselling role within Australia
- The ability to maintain accurate records and complete reports
- Able to work from a trauma-informed practice model
- Effective time management and calendar organisation skills to meet service delivery standards
- A current driver's licence
- Police Clearance
- Working with Children Check
