Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate social worker to join our mental health care team in the South Eastern Sydney region.

This role offers a unique opportunity to provide innovative, recovery-focused care to inpatients and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to provide social work leadership and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

  • Provide professional social work services to inpatients in a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans to promote patient recovery and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and carers to enhance service delivery.

Applicants must have a minimum bachelor's degree in social work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).

A strong commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing clinical and professional learning, and computer skills are also essential for this role.
