Responsibilities
  • Provide an effective and efficient Social Work service that addresses the psychosocial aspects of care for patients as identified.
  • Provide intervention including support, education and resources to assist in dealing with health events.
  • Actively participate and contribute to the continued development of the Social Work professional role in the context of health.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Social Work providing eligibility for membership of AASW.
  • Ability to demonstrate expertise and knowledge of Social Work in the context of Health.

This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer. Salary will be in accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification(s). A Talent Pool may be created for future roles and will remain valid for 18 months.
