Occupational Therapist Therapy Mentor Role
Everyday Independence is a global leader in delivering life-changing services through our communities. As we continue to grow and expand into new locations, we are seeking a skilled THERAPY MENTOR to support our teams in implementing evidence-based disability practice.
This full-time role offers a competitive salary package of AU$85,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. About the Role:
- You will be a consolidated or advanced clinician with extensive previous experience in Occupational Therapy, preferably in community-based settings providing supports in a disability setting.
- Tertiary-qualified degree in Occupational Therapy, with current registration with AHPRA for clinical work.
- Strong communication skills to build relationships with key stakeholders, knowledge of contemporary therapy practices and services, commitment to learning and development, ability to prioritise and influence, experience in working with clinical strategy and targets, risk prevention and management, and data analysis.
- You will support teams to implement evidence-based disability practice, provide input into therapy plans, raise clinical concerns, offer solutions, and mentor team members during their induction program, including new graduates.
- You will promote the Everyday Independence Clinical Model, champion new practices developed by the leadership team, and work collaboratively to achieve clinical targets relevant to our Queensland hubs.
