We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Trainer and Assessor to join our team. As a key member of our training delivery team, you will be responsible for conducting face-to-face assessments and providing high-quality training support to learners.

About the Role:

  • On-Site Assessment – Conduct regularly scheduled on-site visits to provide assessment and training support, ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Training Delivery – Train and assess students in various delivery methods, including online, classroom, and on-site with trainees.
  • Caseload Management – Manage a caseload of learners, tailoring training to meet individual needs and achieve progression targets.
  • Maintaining Quality – Ensure all compliance obligations are met, and delivery and assessment standards remain high.
  • Mentoring – Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to learners throughout their vocational journey.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and delivering engaging and effective training programs that cater to diverse learner needs.
  • Conducting regular on-site visits to assess learners' performance and provide feedback.
  • Managing learner progress, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing targeted interventions.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure high-quality training and assessment practices.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and maintaining knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Hold a current Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
  • Have real-world hospitality experience and a passion for sharing knowledge.
  • Be confident in delivering engaging and interactive training sessions that promote learner engagement and achievement.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt your training style to suit different learners.
