We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Service Employee to join our team at The Salvation Army Aged Care. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with medication management and administration
- Monitor and respond to changes in residents' health and wellbeing
- Complete wound dressings and implement continence programs
- Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting and mobility
- Document resident care and progress
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement resident care plans
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about delivering person-centred care and has a strong commitment to the values and ethos of The Salvation Army. You will have a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care and current First Aid Certificate, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on providing high-quality care and support to our residents.
