
Child Development Coach

This is an exciting opportunity for a Speech Pathologist to work in partnership with educators and early childhood professionals to promote positive outcomes for children.
The successful candidate will work in a unique role, applying their speech pathology knowledge and expertise outside of a traditional clinical model.
- You will implement evidence-informed capacity building approaches to enhance outcomes for children and families within the early learning and care setting.
- You will work alongside Centre Directors, Educators, and other key stakeholders to observe, identify, and support the progression of children's learning, development, and well-being.
- You will communicate and engage regularly with families to support the inclusion and participation of their child.
- You will build linkages with local services and streamline referral pathways into and out of the centre.
- You will attend and participate in Centre Team meetings and contribute to the development of a strong, cohesive team.
- You will maintain close liaison and attend regular supervision with a National Manager or Speech Pathology Team Leader.
- You will deliver professional development and contribute to reports, briefings, resources as required.
- You will ensure that all administrative requirements are met and maintained in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience.
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and coaching skills.
- Strong understanding of child development (birth - 5 years).
- Ability to document, analyse, and report on relevant key performance indicators.
- Desirable but not essential - Hanen Learning Language and Loving It Training Certification.
