Rehabilitation Consultant Role

We are seeking professionals with a background in Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy to fill this key position.

This diverse role offers flexibility and autonomy, with the support of a strong team of healthcare professionals. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will work across various schemes to provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with physical and psychological conditions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Case management with manageable caseloads and administrative support from trained assistants
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes
  • Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
  • Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
  • Assisting clients to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes through assessments and consultancy services

We welcome new graduates and offer internal supervision for provisional psychologists to meet full registration requirements. Our hands-on approach to learning and development ensures career opportunities within our organization.

You will be a driven professional with excellent communication and time management skills, compassion, kindness, and empathy. You must have a current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy
  • General or Provisional registration with AHPRA or Full membership with ASORC or AASW
  • Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded
