About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team at MSS Security Pty Ltd in Perth CBD. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and security of our clients.

This is a permanent full-time role with a competitive salary of $26.87 per hour + penalties. The successful candidate will have a Certificate II in Security Operations and WA security license, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Responsibilities
  • Greet and direct tenants, contractors, and members of the public.
  • Monitor CCTV footage to ensure that assets are protected, to detect any signs of a security breach.
  • Respond to critical incidents and simultaneously prepare written reports.
  • Interact with key stakeholders including client and building management.
  • Assist with administration tasks when the site manager is off duty as delegated and required by the role.
  • Sign in procedure for contractors that conduct works onsite, ensuring the appropriate work permits / work orders and site inductions has been submitted and completed.
Requirements
  • Certificate II in Security Operations and WA security license.
  • First Aid certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous concierge security experience.
  • Prior control room experience.
  • Minimum 2 years in the security industry.
  • Able to work autonomously without supervision.
  • Full WA driver's license.
