Monadelphous is a leading provider of project management services. We are currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of multiple shutdowns, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with budgetary and scheduling requirements.

About the Role:

The Project Engineer will lead and coordinate site support functions including Quality, Technical, Planning, and Commercial. This role will work closely with the Project Manager to develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules.

  • Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules for both tender submissions and execution phases.
  • Ensure the accuracy and availability of all project-related data during execution.
  • Compile and present planning, scheduling, and cost control documentation.
  • Support the preparation and submission of commercial deliverables, including reports, delay notices, and extension of time claims.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:Project Planning:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules.
Site Support:
  • Lead and coordinate site support functions including Quality, Technical, Planning, and Commercial.
Budgeting and Scheduling:
  • Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules for both tender submissions and execution phases.
Data Management:
  • Ensure the accuracy and availability of all project-related data during execution.
Reporting:
  • Compile and present planning, scheduling, and cost control documentation.
Commercial Deliverables:
  • Support the preparation and submission of commercial deliverables, including reports, delay notices, and extension of time claims.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated site-based experience within the resources sector.
  • Proven ability to manage core elements of major project delivery.
  • Engineering or trade qualifications preferred.
  • Experience with heavy mechanical or mobile plant equipment advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant project management software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports and instructions for clients and internal stakeholders.
