Ranger Services Lead

The City of Armadale's Ranger Services team plays a vital role in safeguarding community lifestyle and amenity. As the Ranger Services Lead, you will be responsible for guiding an emerging and committed team, shaping how we serve our diverse community.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Ranger team.
  • Oversee compliance and enforcement across animal management, fire hazards, parking, illegal dumping, and other local laws.
  • Strengthen community safety and amenity through proactive education, problem-solving and respectful enforcement.
  • Drive improvements to systems, procedures, and service delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with local stakeholders and the community.
About You

You're someone who:

  • Remains calm under pressure and can resolve conflict constructively.
  • Brings integrity, attention to detail, and a strong grasp of legislation.
  • Has experience leading teams in compliance, emergency, or regulatory services.
  • Can coach, mentor, and bring out the best in others.
  • Holds ROCS 1 & 2, Fire Control Officer qualifications, and a C-class driver's licence.
  • Has experience in animal handling and knowledge of relevant WA legislation.
