Aquatic Systems Officer Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mainstreaming waterway health and catchment assessment programs to ensure the well-being of our environment.
  • Developing, managing, and delivering aquatic macroinvertebrate surveys, site/issue/project specific monitoring, recreational water quality monitoring, and freshwater crayfish surveys.
  • Continuously reviewing and improving monitoring programs by collaborating with external experts.
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining databases and data management systems.
  • Effectively communicating findings and key messages through various channels, including videos, presentations, and corporate reporting.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Relevant degree in environmental science, biology, or a related field.
