Student Engagement Leader

A dynamic Middle Leadership role is available at a co-educational, Catholic school in northern Melbourne.

This Permanent opportunity is ideal for an educator who is passionate about promoting student engagement and agency, as well as opportunities for student leadership.

Role Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development of student engagement strategies to promote student agency and autonomy
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to implement engaging and effective instructional practices
  • Providing guidance and support to teachers to enhance their capacity to engage students

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Masters of Teaching / Bachelor of Education / PGCE)
  • Current VIT registration or eligibility to gain
  • Working Rights for Australia or eligibility to gain

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other stakeholders
