The Role of a Pathfinder

As an Education Account Executive, you will play a key role in shaping how education prepares the next generation for a world that will look radically different from today.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and oversee account plans to drive Microsoft revenue growth and deliver customer value.
  2. Engage with stakeholders on business planning to promote mutually beneficial customer transformation strategies.
  3. Orchestrate cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of customer outcomes across the customer lifecycle.
  4. Build deep trust with customers by delivering Sales Excellence and leading virtual teams.
  5. Gather deeper insights through direct engagement in customers' businesses and operations.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, account management, or business development in a customer-facing role within the technology industry.
  • A proven track record of developing strategic account plans that meet revenue goals and deliver measurable customer value.
  • The ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders across both internal teams and external customers.
  • Experience orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver value across the customer lifecycle.
  • Ability to lead executive-level business planning discussions.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the Education industry and associated trends, business models, and partner ecosystems.
  • A proven ability to deliver customer success through long-term engagement, advocacy, and proactive issue resolution.
  • Experience leading virtual teams and navigating large matrixed organizations.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft products, services, and partner ecosystem is a plus.
