Director of the Raine Study

The University of Western Australia is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as Director of The Raine Study.

As Director, you will provide overall leadership, ensuring the long-term sustainability and impact of the cohort. You will lead the development and execution of strategic plans, oversee governance and operational performance, and champion a culture of scientific excellence.

You will work closely with stakeholders to strengthen the reputation of The Raine Study and develop a sustainable framework for the protection and continuation of our cohort in the future. You will also guide the research team in generating high-impact outputs, fostering collaboration, and promoting findings that influence public policy and health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for The Raine Study
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to ensure the long-term sustainability and impact of the cohort
  • Oversee governance and operational performance
  • Champion a culture of scientific excellence
  • Work closely with stakeholders to strengthen the reputation of The Raine Study
  • Guide the research team in generating high-impact outputs
  • Foster collaboration and promote findings that influence public policy and health outcomes

Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant field
  • Significant experience in leading research teams and developing strategic plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of population health research and its applications
