We are seeking an accomplished Chief Exploration Strategist to lead our exploration efforts and drive the advancement of our battery metals projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for devising and executing strategic plans for a world-class portfolio of lithium and base metal projects, ensuring alignment with our company objectives.

  • Direct the design, execution, and management of exploration programs, adhering to timelines, safety protocols, and budgetary constraints;
  • Develop and communicate a forward-thinking exploration strategy in line with our business goals;
  • Analyze and interpret geological and geophysical data to inform exploration and targeting decisions;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to ensure informed decision-making regarding discovery efforts;
  • Contribute to the development of resource models, guiding project development strategies;
  • Evaluate opportunities for improvement and operational efficiency to achieve superior exploration outcomes across our projects;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree In Geoscience discipline - Postgraduate qualifications advantageous;
  • Proven leadership experience managing robust exploration programs;
  • Working knowledge and experience with lithium or base metal-related commodities are advantageous;
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate cross-functional teams;
  • Proficiency with geological modeling software, GIS tools, etc.;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in complex scenarios.
